ELLERSLIE PRESBYTERIANS

PROGRESS DURING YEAR The Rev. S. E. Hill presided over a largo attendance at the annual congregational meeting of the Ellerslie Presbyterian Church held on Wednesday evening. The session report revealed that 44 new members had been added to the roll, and that the Ordinary revenue showed an increase of about £SO as compared with last period. Appreciation was expressed that the new Sunday school hall had been completed. The work of the classes would •benefit greatly through tho added accommodation. The hall is large and beautifully designed, the capital cose being about £1,500. The various organistaions reported much progress, and the future is bright for tho work of the church. The following were elected as managers:—Messrs. J. McKelvie, F. W. Woodward. A. Nicholson, W. Cowan. P. White, Kirkness and Butterworth. Votes of thanks were accorded to Mr. Hill and the various church workers.
