LITTLE DISEASE ABOUT Except for a number or cases of scarlet fever the general health of Auckland at the moment is particularly good, said Dr. T. J. Hughes, of ’che Health Department in commenting r.his morning on the work of his office. Three caches of scarlet fever were notified today, three yesterday and one on Wednesday, all however being scattered throughout the suburbs. Compared with returns of a week ago, the number of influenza, pneumonia and diphtheria cases show’s a decided drop and other maladies have also shown a marked decline.
