OUTBOARD RACING
TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME HANDICAPS DECLARED The outboard division of the New Zealand Power-Boat Association will hold a series of racing events on the Wlmu River tomorrow afternoon. The programme will include elimination trials for the selection of the Auckland boat to defend the interprovincial challenge, shield at -Russell on December 27. The programme is as follows: B Class Handicap, 3 laps; start at 2.45. —Nymph Junior. 4m 10s; Sun Ray, 2m 10s; Fleetun, lm 50s; Rowley Hoppa, lm 50s; Miss Edna, lm 50s; Chancit, lm 40s; Breakaway, 20s; Ocean Mule, 5.5; Miss ser. . Elimination Trials, first heat, 5 laps; 3 o’clock.—Hum Bug IV., Silvertown Kid, Baby Gay, Ocean Mule, Breakaway, Miss Marquette. Elimination Trials, second heat, 5 laps; 3.ls.—Sea Horse, Miss Arawa, K. 0., Baby Olds, Miss Akarana. C Class Handicap, 5 laps; 3.3o.—The Chief, 4 m 20s; Nymph. 2m 15s; Miss Marquette, scr; Blue Streak, scr. Final of Elimination Trials, 5 laps; 3.4s.—First, second and third in heats to start in final.
