AVIATION IN HAMILTON
ANOTHER CLUB FORMED From Our Oxen Correspondent HAMILTON, Thursday. The decision to form an organisation known as the Hamilton Aero Club was made at a large meeting of enthusiasts this evening. Mr. A. E. Manning presided. Major G. A. C. Cowper, on behalf of Hamilton Airways, Ltd., offered to enter into a contract ■with the club to teach its members flying. He said that Mr. D. V. Bryant, who was constructing an airdrome, would assist the club in any way he could. A provisional committee was appointed as. follows;—Messrs. A. E. Manning, J. R. Fow, T. G. Reynolds, F. Hyde, E. N. Valintine, W. H. Paul, N. S Johnston, F Butler, S. J. Blackmore, P. G. Harkness, Major Cowper and Dr E. C. Brewis. Mr. Reynolds was elected chairman and secretary. A total of 34 members was enrolled.
