WOMAN’S SUICIDE
SEVERE WOUND IN THROAT HAD BEEN IN ILL-HEALTH Press Association TAURANGA, Today. A Umber worker’s wife, Mrs. Anna Mary Russell, 30, was found dead in her bedroom at her house at Whakamarama by her husband about two o’clock yesterday afternoon. She had a severe wound in the throat. At an inquest the coroner, Mr. A. F. Tunks, returned a verdict that death was due to haemorrhage, caused by a self-inflicted wound. Mrs. Russell had been in ill-health for some time, and her husband was about to bring her to se,e a doctor. She leaves one child.
