A MERRY PARTY

CHILDREN OF EX-SERVICE WOMEN ENTERTAINED MRS. HIRST IS HOSTESS A jolly Christmas party was given by Airs. Hirst at her residence, Upland Road, Remuera, on Saturday afternoon, for the children of members of the Ex-Servicewomen’s Association. About 30 children were present, also a large number of members of the association. Games were played on the verandah, the children having a merry time. Each child received a bag of sweets, toys, and balloons before leaving, which gave very great pleasure to the litle recipients.
