ENJOYABLE AT HOME

KINDERGARTEN FUNDS TO BENEFIT Undaunted by the adverse weather conditions which prevailed on Saturday, the committee in charge of the arrangements for the At Home to be held in the grounds of Dr. Gladys Rowley, High Street, Otahuhu, transferred the scene of operations to St. Andrew's Hall, where a large number of parents and friends of the kindergarten children attended. Numerous novelty competitions were in full sway and, helped by a number of stalls, were the means of adding considerably to the school’s funds. Santa Claus was present and was eagerly sought after by the young folk. Keen interest was displayed in the decorated pram competition. The prize winners were:—Mrs. McAnulty, 1: Mrs. Pilcher, 2; Mrs. Barrett, 3. Best decorated tricycle, Master Piper.
