MISSING SCHOONERS
FOUR LOST. CREWS RESCUED OFF NEWFOUNDLAND BATTERED BY STORM Reed. 9.27 a.m. ST. JOHN’S (Newfoundland), Fri. Of the ten missing Bonavista-bound schooners, eight have been reported, though four have been lost, and their crews rescued, and others battered. One man was drowned from the schooner Northern Light, and the rest were rescued.
