KILLED BY SHOT GUN
FARMER FOUND DEAD Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The body of Mr. Harry Helmore Cower, aged 48, married, a retired farmer, was found in lupins near the beach at Kaikoura last evening. There was a gunshot wound in the head. Deceased left home at 3 p.m. to shoot rabbits. At seven o’clock in the evening his wife, alarmed because he did not return, asked friends to search for him. The body was found near a barbed wire fence and a doublebarrelled gun. with one barrel discharged. was found standing unright against the fence.
