HENDERSON MUSICAL SOCIETY
An appreciative audience was present at the Henderson Town Hall last evening when the Henderson Musical Bociety gave its final summer concert. The programme was as follows: Glee. “The Bell Ringers.” by the society; solo, “Break o’ Day,” by Miss Parr; glee, “Carnivale,” by the society; solo. “Mary,” by Mr. Hosking: Glee, Softly Falls,” by the society; solo, “Love’s Lane,” by Miss Green; glee, “Stars of a Summer's Night,’’ by the society; solo, by Mrs. Gilbert; duet, “Wo Do, Reggie, Don't We?" by Miss Gieaves and Miss Jones; chorus "Stokers.” by Masters F. Fuller, G. Fuller, J. Nichols, C. Greaves and M. Greenslade; glee, “Far Away,” by the society; glee. “Shepherd’s Dance,” bv the women of the society: recitation, bv Miss Moore; solo, “Mother Machee,” by Mr. Hosking; glee, “In This Hour,” by the society; trio, “Three Little Maids from School." by the two Misses Perkins and Mr. Allely; solo, “Vale,” by Miss Roberts; duet, “Fifing Call,” by Miss Parr and Mr. Ingram. The evening concluded with a play, “Tanks,” by Miss Parr, Miss de MorU talk and Mr. A 1: el y. The play was very amusing and highly appreciated by the audience.
