LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

MANUREWA BRANCH j There was a large attendance of members and friends of the Manurewa branch of the League of Mothers, at the final meeting of the session, held in the Manurewa Town Tlall on Thursday afternoon. The president, Mrs. C. S. McCallum, presided, and items were contributed by Mesdames Hood, Carroll and Wrigley, elocutionary items, and Mrs, White, a reading. At the conclusion of the function, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mrs. Mitchell, president, and Miss Airey, secretary of the Auckland Provincial League of Mothers, for their untiring efforts in helping the Manurewa branch. Appreciation was also accorded Mrs. McCallum, president, Mrs. Wrigley, secretary, Sister Campbell, treasurer, and Mrs. Houghey, I librarian, for their services during the past year.
