POPULAR CABARET NEW MUSICAL NUMBERS Attractive decorations and colourful lighting made the Click Clack Cabaret a pleasing setting for the smart frocks worn on Saturday evening, when many dancers assembled to enjoy the excellent music provided by Mr. L. J ones and his orchestra, which played, among other new numbers, “Shoe-shiner’s Drag” and “Brown Sugar.” The stage had been effectively arranged with Kenya palms and green shrubs. Among those present were: Mrs. K. Jordan was in a. lace and georgette frock of deep biscuit shade. Mrs. E. Moore, who wore an anklelength frock of black seciuinned georgette, with a shoulder spray of roses. Airs. R. Morris wore a taffeta frock in pale french blue. Mrs. G. Jones was wearing a smart chiffon taffeta frock in deep petunia, ’ with a large hip bow. Blue georgette, with a spray of pink roses on the shoulder, was chosen by t Airs. Uussell-Chester. Aliss Linda De Konzy chose an apple green taffeta period frock. A pretty frock of floral taffeta was . favoured by Aliss V. Brent. Powder blue georgette, ankle-length at • back, was worn by Miss G. Woolfe. . Aliss E. Edward chose a frock of ling ; velvet. IN EGGSHELL BLUE Aliss C. Hant was frocked in eggshell blue georgette, with a long uneven hemlinfe. Aliss J. Crouch chose lido blue georgette, with shawl of same shade. Aliss S. Smith was wearing a georgette frock in powder blue. A chic frock of tlame georgette, with [ tin ankle-length skirt of frills, was chosen by Aliss Campbell. Aliss Esmo Worthing (Sydney) wore a . frilled frock of cameo pink georgette. Aliss Condon was wearing a pretty ‘ frock of waterlily green, with a long spray of flowers. A cream georgette frock, with long • blue shoulder spray, was worn by Aliss l Spinley. Aliss Aloyra Clark favoured black lace over pale pink georgette. Turquoise blue georgette, with a : shoulder spray to tone, was cliosen by - Aliss Marshall. i Aliss A Lax ted. had on a charming green ) frock, with velvet corsage, and a flounced ■ skirt of tulle.
