LABOUR PARTY ' AUCKLAND WOMEN’S BRANCH At a recent meeting of the Auckland women’s branch of the New Zealand Labour Party, the Rev. Wilna Constable addressed the members, her subject being “Youth and Its Needs.” The speaker outlined the spiritual and mental questioning of present day youth, and its various methods of ; satisfying inquiry. She spoke also of | her work among the young people of her church at Warwick, England, and I the impression gained since coming to this country. A lively discussion l'oli lowed and Mrs. Constable was thanked j by the president, Mrs. L. Harrison, for { her interesting address. At last j Thursday’s meeting a report of the 1 children's recent fancy dress ball was I received, and the result proved most • gratifying. Miss Edger pointed out that education developed power of tackling subjects and of study in after life.
