ST. JAMES THEATRE

ANOTHER LAUGHING REVIJE “Happy Ideas” is the title of the programme being staged by Jim Gerald and his new revue company at St. James Theatre this week, and it is certainly brimful of all that the title suggests. The first half of the programme is full • of good things in the world of revue. Songs and dances and plenty of laughter make the time before the interval pass too quickly. The second half of the programme is taken up by "Oh, Mum,” a revue in five acts in which Jim Gerald gives his inimitable performances as Airs. Muggins. The whole of the revue is one long laugh and the spectacle of Airs. Muggins surrounded by her brood of children is sufficient to drive the blues away fur a week.
