CHAMPIONS HONOURED
TAURANGA HIGH SCHOOL TEAM From Our Oxen Correspondent TAURANGA, Monday. A pleasant function took place at Tauranga on Saturday evening, when the District High School gave a complimentary dinner to the District High School Rugby fifteen to celebrate its being the champions of the Tauranga juniors, winners of the Oliver Cup, and the Green Cup, in junior knockout competitions. The chair was occupied by Mr. Bell, headmaster of the school, who was supported by the Mayor, Mr. B. C. Robbins, members of the school committee, and the president of the Rugbv Union. A number of toasts were honoured and during the evening Mr. Andrews, chairman of the school committee, presented the team with new caps.
