ROTORUA The official closing of the Rotorua Golf Club for the 3 929 season took place on Labour Day under the most adverse wether conditions. The rain held off only long .enough to enable a start to be made, after which wind and rain made golf almost an impossibility. Nevertheless, a good number of cards were returned, and that of the winners in a Canadian foursome, Mr. and Mrs. Morrice, being exceptionally good.
