WORK FOR MISSIONS

BAPTIST WOMEN MEET An interesting address on “Contrasts,” dealing with India in the past and at the present day, was given by the president. Miss L. Ings, at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Baptist Women’s Missionary Union yesterday. Talks on social and missionary work were also given by Miss M. Bradfield and Mrs. H. Jones. Greetings were received from sister organisations. The financial report showed a very satisfactory position. The new president. Mrs. C. Collins, was inducted during the meeting.
