REMUERA PARTY
MISS JOY PORTER IS HOSTESS AT BRIDGE AFTERNOON Miss Joy Porter was hostess at at her home in Victoria Avenue. Remuera, yesterday afternoon at a delightful little bridge party. Bright-hued ranunculuses and anemones made the ru*-.ns look charming, and the afternoon passed very pleasantly. Miss Porter welcomed lier guests in a frock of daffodil crepe de chine combined with flowered georgette in shades of daffodil and peach pink. Those present were: Mrs. Albert Goldwater, Mrs. Milliken, Mrs. Norman Watson, Mrs. Reg. Humphries, Miss Lorna McGruer, Miss Dorothy Tancred, Miss Eileen Adkins, Miss Effie Hardley, Miss Rosie Kennedy, Miss Franeelle Drier and Miss Marcella. Laurie.
