“STOLEN PLEASURES” I | The programme which will be presented at the Kialto and Kegent (Ep- ! som > Theatres for two days comment-- ! ing this evening is headed by "Stolen - Pleasures,'’ a comedy-drama of mat - ! rimonial jealousies starring Dorthy Roj tier and Helen Chadwick. The story tells of two young married couples in both of which there is a "tiff.” While they are still smarting with jealousy they find themselves in most unusual and dramatic circumstances. Thanks to the ingenuity of the 1 author, and the necessity of the i drama, the whole'thing untangles it- ; self in a grand climax and we leave j them a little groggy for their adven--1 tures and lessons but surely on the j way to living happily ever after- ] ward. Not that this splendidly writi ten and produced screen drama is in--1 tended for the sole diversion and in--1 struction of married folks—not by a I long shot. It is solid and sound en- | tertainment for every class of theatre- ! goer. j "The Luck of the Navy," the second 1 picture at both theatres, is a fine ; melodrama of the exciting days of the 1 war, and stars a number o£ wellj known English actors. Lupe Velez, playing the fiery little j heroine in Lon Chaney s new Metro— Goldwm- Mayer starring picture, i "Where East is East.” says that even a girl in the Orient goes in for nice i clothes nowadays. She wears seven distinct changes of costume in her ro»e !as a Siamese girl, some native and some Occidental. Fashions go all over the world, she insists.
