STRESEMANN’S DEATH

KING EXTENDS SYMPATHY TO GERMANY LOSS TO ALL EUROPE British Official Wireless Reed. noon. RUGBY, Friday. The King, who is at Sandringham., has sent to the German Ambassador in London a message of deep sympathy on the death of Dr. Stresemann, German Foreign Minister, which he described as a loss not only to Germany, but to the whole of Europe. The King recalls meeting Dr. Stresemann when he was last in London, and he has received the sad news with feelings of sincere regret, which he knows will bo shared by the people of this country. The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Arthur Henderson, is broadcasting an appreciation of Dr. Stresemann at ten o’clock tonight. Dr. Curtius, Minister of Economy, has been appointed acting Foreign Minister in succession to Dr. Stresemann, says a Berlin message.
