Schoolmaster Found Shot in Breast
EAST TAMAKI TRAGEDY DISCOVERY IN SHED The headmaster of the East Tamaki Public School, Mr. T. Braithwaite, was found dead behind a shed near his home at six o’clock this morning by one of his children. There was a bullet wound in one breast. » Mr. Braithwaite, who was 47 years of age, was in his pyjamas when found, and a shotgun, with a wire attached to the trigger, was lying at his feet. There was a bullet wound in his left breast. He had been in indifferent health for some time. An inquest was opened this moriTing before Mr. F. IT. Levien, S.M., and after evidence of identification had been given it was adjounred sine die.
