Maiden, of Tuakau, told the court that accused had been employed by a shipping company, and when his services had been dispensed with he rowed the boat to his home. When seen by the police, accused was ! quite frank. j The youtli was fined £l, ordered to j pay 14s costs, in addition to the cost iof conveying the boat back to its. owners.
