FATAL TALL FROM TRAM
ELDERLY MAN SUCCUMBS Severe injuries to the head received in falling from a moving tramcar in Surrey Crescent on September 20, resulted in the death of Mr. David Sheahan, aged 54, at the Auckland Hospital last evening. Mr. Sheahan was married, and resided in Allen Road, Grey Lynn. The inquest on the death of Daniel Sheahan, jeweller and watchmaker, of 5 Allan Road, Grey Lynn, opened this morning. The body was identified by his married daughter. Mrs. Kathleen Annie Steel, of. Karamu, who was staying with her parents. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
