BREACH OF ACT COSTS DRIVER £lO (From Onr Own Correspondent) TE KUITI, Today. At the To Kuiti Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, Mr. F. W. Platts. S.M., presiding, Alfred Ernest Mclndoe. of Kopaki, pleaded guilty to a charge of using a motor vehicle without having paid the full amount of the insurance premium, thus committing a breach of the Third Party Risks Act. The police said that the offence was committed through defendant’s failure io pay the extra licence fee and continuing to use tho car. His Worship said the Act provided 'or a penalty of £lO a day for this offence, which was a serious one under the Act. The defendant was fined £lO.
