From Our Own Correspondent OPOTIKI, Today. A rifle match between the Whakatane and Opotiki Rifle Clubs on Saturday last resulted in an easy win for the visitors. The scores were as follow. 10 shots each at 300 and 500 yards:— AYhakatane.—Armstrong, 41, 46, total 90; Newton, 44, 45—89; P. Anderson. 46, 43—59; Aloore, 40, 42—52; Hepburn, 43. 38 —SI; J. Anderson, 37, 43—SO; total, 511. Opotiki.—Joblin, 44, 46—90; A. Saunders, 40, 43—53; Andrews, 37, 42—79: Sydenham, 37, 42—79; A. Plollard, 41, 3S —79; Lambert, 26, 44—70. Total, 454. Whakatane won by 27 points.
