ROTORUA HUNT
ROTORUA, Today. On Saturday last the first meet of the 1929 season of the Rotorua Hunt Association took place. About sixty riders, led by Hr. Bertram, president of the association, and Air. Wynn Brown, who brought his pack of hounds from Cambridge, moved off from the R.M. buildings to Air. M. Jolly’s farm, where a most pleasant and successful afternoon’s hunting was enjoyed. The cavalcade and followers were entertained at Hr. Bertram’s at enjoyable afternoon tea. On Alonday the meet was held at Ngongotaha, where another successful hunt was enjoyed. The season ends with a final run today, when a particularly large following is expected.
