SATURDAY’S GAME The principal game for Blandford Park on Saturday is still in doubt, but it is very improbable that the match between the Navy and Rest of Auckland will be played. The Diomede is prepared to meet the Tramways Club, which has a bye in the knock-outs on Saturday, or a combined team from the cruisers may be pitted against Trams. Until word, has been received from the flagship Dunedin, no definite arrangement can be made, but a popular event would be a farewell match between the Dunedin and Diomede before the latter sails for Home on October 1.
