Charge of Murder May Be Withdrawn

DEATH OF INFANTS | WOMAN’S MENTAL STATE "I have written to the authorities suggesting that they withdraw the proceedings,” said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., when the name of Annie Elizabeth Cubis was called in the Police Court this morning to answer a charge of murdering her infant sons, William Arran Cubis and Timothy Brian Cubis on August 6 at Dominion Road. WHEN the woman was last remanded, the magistrate remarked that he would be visiting the mental hospital and seeing her during the week. This morning he said that he thought it would be many months before accused could appear in court. A remand was made until September 21.
