FAVOURS LOCAL CONTROL Press Association WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Technical Education Conference adopted a remit opposing the abolition of local control, and suggesting that, in any revision of the regulations for the control of post-primary schools, regard should be paid to the representation of industrial, commercial and agricultural interests on the controlling boards.
