ADVANTAGES OF BOROUGH Mr. E. C. Franklin, president of the Papatoeto© Literary and Debating Society, presided over a good attendance of members art the fortnightly meeting on Tuesday evening. Addressed were given on the advantages to be gained by the formation of a borough in Papatoetoe. The speakers were Messrs. S. J. E. Closey, Vickery, W. Heald and E. "Wilkinson. A motion was carried that the time had arrived when it would be advantageous for Papatoetoe to form the town district into a borough.
