GAOL FOR SIX MONTHS
AUSTRALIAN DEPORTEE SENTENCED FALSE PRETENCES CHARGE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Monday. The magistrate at the Wood Green Court, North London, sentenced Reginald Fieldhouse to imprisonment for six months for obtaining £lO by false pretences. Detectives stated in evidence that Fieldhouse was sentenced to imprisonment for nine months in 1920 and also in 1922, on similar charges. He afterward went to Australia, where he was twice sentenced for fraud, and deported. Fieldhouse returned to England and was again sentenced to imprisonment. After his release family influence obtained him employment, which he had kept.
