ROAD CAUSES PROTEST

TARANAKI BODY’S ACTION (Special to THE SUN) NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday. The bad condition of the MahoenuiTe Kuiti section of the Main North Road has resulted in a protest from the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce. It will be forwarded to the Main Highways Board. At a meeting of the council last night the vice-president, Mr. E. Shaw, said he thought a definite request should go forward from the chamber to members of Parliament and the Highways Board that some funds should be spent on the section under discussion.
