BIG TWO-DAY SHOOT (Front Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. More than 50 competitors from districts as far north as Whangarei and as far south as Taihape, were present at the first day of the annual open claybird shoot of the Hamilton Gun Club at Ruakura today. Light was favourable and the shooting was, taken all round, of a good standard. Among those present were Alessrs. D. Fraser and IT. Clinch, of Auckland, ex-cham-pions. Air. Clinch won the live-bird title at Hastings a few yeeks ago. Results: First Alatch, 21 birds.—ll. Clinch, 16yds (Auckland). Al. Pratt. 14yds (Otorohanga), W. Peck. 13yds (Taumrirunui), A. Aitken, 13yds (Alorrinsville), G. Shaw, 12yds (Thames). E. Green, 31yds (Morrinsville), and W. Smith. 11yds (Thames), each shot the possible, and divided £45. J. AlcMiken. 16vds (Hamilton), L. F. Ramsay, 11yds (New Lvnii), G. Bretherton, 11yds (Taumarumii), S Parlour, 11yds (Morrinsville), E. Thornton. 11yds (Thames), O. Brown, llvds (New Lynn), F.
