Nine thousand guests were present at their Majesties’ garden party at Buckingham Palace. The King was unable to leave his room, but the Queen and other Royalties greeted the many guests The New Zealanders included Mr. Justice Reed and Mrs. Reed, Mr. Frank Milner, rector of the Waitaki Boys’. High. School, and Miss Betty Parr.
