A charming bride in blue was Miss Marjorie Snelling, second daughter oC the late Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Snelling, of Maungaturoto, -when she was married at St. Mark’s Church, Remuera, yesterday afternoon, to Mr. S. Roderick Fraser, second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Fraser, of Maungatapere. Her frock of georgette in delicate shadings of hyacinth blue was modishly designed and appliqued in sequins, and her filmy tulle veil toning with the gown was attached to a chaplet of orange blossoms, and carried by two flower girls* (nieces of the bridegroom). Nan and Edith Fraser. The little maids had on frocks of shell pink georgette and wreathlets of pink rosebuds around their hair. They carried posies of crimson cyclamen. The bride’s bouquet was a sheaf of white tiger lilies. Miss Xancy Snelling, the chief bridesmaid, wore a dainty lemon georgette frock with uneven hemline, and bandeau of gold leaves and tulle to match. Cardinal roses composed her bouquet. Miss Bonnie Snelling and Miss Kate Melville added to the attractiveness of the group in befrilled frocks of apple green georgette, and headdresses of tulle to tone, and gold leaves. They carried orchid bouquets. Mr. Dan Fraser was best man, and Mr. Leslie Snelling was groomsman. After the ceremony about 70 guests were entertained at a reception at the Domain Kiosk. Mrs. J. M. Melville, the bride’s aunt, was hostess, wearing an electric blue ensemble suit, and hat en suite. Mrs. Fraser. the bridegroom’s mother, was attired in navy w «e.
