BUTCHER’S VAN ABLAZE
CAB BADLY DAMAGED The Otabuliu Fire Brigade received a call to a motor-van in Panama Road, Otahuhu, at "5.45 last evening. The van, which, was owned by Mr. Rogers, butcher, of Penrose, was standing in Panama Road when flames burst out near the petrol tank. The brigade extinguished the outbreak with its first-aid equipment. The cab of the van was damaged by the flames.
