ONEHUNGA METHODISTS MEET

£125 FOR FOREIGN MISSIONS A large attendance of representatives from the Methodist Churches at Penrose, Mangere and Onehunga attended last evening the quarterly meeting of the Onehunga Methodist Circuit. The Rev. F. B. Leadley, minister in charge, presided. Mr. A. J. Pople, senior circuit steward, reported that there were 265 members on the circuit and that the income for the year amounted to £144 3s 7d, an excess of £2 over expenditure. In response to a unanimous request, Mr. Leadley consented to remain in charge of the circuit for another year. An allocation of £125 was made toward the fund for foreign missions and Mrs. A. J. Pople was appointed secretary. Mr. Leadley announced that an evangelistic mission, lasting eight days, would be conducted in the Onehunga Church next month.
