TRAGIC ACCIDENT AT GLEN MASSEY FATHER FIRES AT RABBIT (From Ois Own Correspondent j NGARUAWAHIA, Monday. To be accidentally shot by his father was the tragic fate of David Kerr, aged 11 years, at Glen Massey yesterday afternoon. At the inquest today, held by Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M.. David Kerr, an employee of the Glen Massey Brickworks, and father of the boy, said lie was out shooting with his two sons. A rabbit was wounded and the boy ran after it just as witness fired. The boy received the charge in the head and died immediately. The coroner returned a verdict of death by accidental shooting, and expressed his sympathy with the parents.
