STATE EXAMINATIONS
RESULTS OF NURSES’ TESTS .. Besults of the State examination nurses on June 5 and 6 show that the first places for New Zealand were filled by Misses Edith M. Henderson (Hamilton Hospital), Hectorine M. (Napier) and Jessie I. Martin (Wellington). Auckland city and provincial examinees who passed with 75 per cent, or over are:—Violet Barton (Whangarei) Jeannette M. S. Hall, Dorothy M. Hood (Auckland), Margaret M. Gardner, Iris E. Patton, Elizabeth M. Mills, Freda (J. Merlet, Dily V. Storey (Hamilton). Candidates who ajso passed are: Constance Bradney, Florence M. Carpenter (Whangarei), Ivy C. Crawley. Violet A. Dutton, Doreen M Fletcher, Ellen M. A. Haydon, Doris Hunter, Marjorie 11. Mulls, Ellen L McGovern, Olive L. Oliver (Auckland), Lizzie Nicholl (Hamilton), Caroline M. Jowsey, Eamil M. Bennett (Thames), Jessie I. Mackenzie, Kathleen Thrupp (Waihi), Thelma Faulconbridge (King George V. Hospital, Rotorua). The following candidates completed a pass:—lvy Myrtle Bell (Auckland, passed medical), Alice Maud Jones (Auckland, passed oral), Lorna J. Hoe (Auckland, medical), Flora K. Stevens (Auckland, medical), Phyllis A. Clements (Auckland, medical and oral), Isabel I-I. M. Thwaites (Auckland, medical). The following obtained partial passes:—Patricia E. Bostock (Auckland, oral). Beryl E. Grierson (Auckland, medical), Flora M. Hooper (Auckland, medical and oral), Lila M. Lakeman (Auckland, medical and oral), Eileen M. J. Parkinson (Auckland, surgical), Isobel Weld (Auckland, surgical and oral), Constance O. Young (Auckland, oral). The above names are not in order of merit.
