The following C grade players will j play against Papakura at Otahuhu at j 10.45 a.m.: Miss Cameron, Mrs. Meni zies, Mrs. Boyce, Mrs. Miss Reynolds, Miss Wills, Mrs. Heather, Miss Wallace. AKARANA CLUB The following team has been selected to play for the Akarana Golf Club in an inter-club match against the Maungakiekie Club at Titirangi links on Saturday next: —B. J. Smith, jun., C. Bailey, F. Hazelden, G. M. Brown, G. L. Brett, H. A. Clarke, J. Swanson, A. M. Henderson, R. H. Potter, G. Wynyard, J. Bridge, V. L. Baker. There will not be an inter-club match for the junior team at Akarana. An 18 holes bogey competition will bo held next Saturday. Players are to choose their own partners. AKARANA LADIES’ CLUB A team from the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club defeated the Waiuku ladies by 11 matches to 2. Following are the results, Waiuku names first: —Miss U. Muir lost to Miss Darrach, 1 down: Miss Neil lost to Mrs. McCarthy, 3 and 2; Mrs. Forbes lost to Mrs. Gilmore, 3 and 2; Mrs. Ohlson lost to Miss Miller, 2 down; Miss Howden lost to Miss Young, 1 down; Miss Hull beat Miss M. Peet, 2 and 1; Miss Aldred lost to Mrs. Preston, 3 and 2; Mrs. Harkness lost to Mrs. Fearnley, 4 and 3; Miss Motion beat Mrs. Cox, 1 up; Miss West lost to Miss Jones, 9 and 7; Mrs. Heise lost to Mrs. Rountree, 5 and 3: Miss Fenwick lost to Miss P. Peet, 7 and 6; Miss Arkle lost to Mrs. Sutton, 2 and 1.
