ROAD BLOCKED
SLIP IN TAITA GORGE TRAFFIC GOES BY RAIL . Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. A big slip in Taita Gorge, the main outlet to the Wairarapa, last night, completely blocked the road. It is considered that, for a week, traffic must proceed by rail. The railway line here is on the opposite side of the river.
