CLUB'S PRIZE-GIVING NIGHT MANY PRESENTATIONS The Manukau Cruising Club held its annual prize-giving night in the Foresters’ Theatre, Onehunga, on Wednesday evening, Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., the club patron, presiding over an attendance of over 200. In addition to the prizes and cups that were distributed. Air. Jordan presented the club captain, Mr. E. Jones, with a chronometer, and Air. J. C. Gibbin, the club secretary, was made, the recipient of a pair of antique copper vases and a smoker’s companion. The Mayor of Onehunga, Air. E. Morton, who was the club’s first president, presented Air. "W. J. Jordan with the patron’s flag. Lancing was enjoyed to the music supplied by Alainland’s Orchestra. Among those present were: Arrs. AV. J. Jordan, in cherry georgette with pointed skirt. Airs. R. JET Augur, in blue satin trimmed with silver. Airs. O. Guest, wearing duchess blue charmelaine and crepe de chine.
Airs. A. Armor, whose floral georgette frock was relieved with henna georgette. Mrs. A. B. Wilkinson, in electric blue georgette and diamante trimming. Mrs. P.
