Man Burned to Death Stephen Fenwick, a single man of 74 was burned to death last evening ■ ki. at Waikari, his body being found among the ashes this morning. Pt. Man Hung in Cowshed At the inquest at Stratford into the death of Arthur Samuel Slater who was found hanging in a cowshed a verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned ; —P.A ; Large Estate Sold The Rangdale Estate at Pori, near Pahiatua, of 1,200 acres, containing a line homestead of 15 rooms, has been sold to Mr. Hugh Morrison, jun.. of Pirinoa. South Wairarapa. The proper tv was almost continuously in the possession of the late Mr. John Clulow. for over 40 years, and was one n f the finest stock fattening farms in the Dominion. —PA
