MOCK COURT STAGED AT OTAHUHU

ST. ANDREWS SOCIETY Varied and amusing charges i were laid against the members of the Otahuhu St. Andrew’s Society ’ at a mock court held in St. Andrew’s Hall on Thursday evening. There was much amusement when the unorthodox penalties were paid by the defendants. Mr. A. MacDonald carried out the arduous duties of judge, Mr. H. McKechnie was the clerk of the court, and Messrs. K. Gardiner and J. Greenlees represented the police. The delinquents were afterwards permitted to dance to music supplied by M.rs. and Messrs. Greenlees. A novelty competition was won by Miss V. Douglas and Mr. J. Cook.
