YOUTH’S BICYCLE SKIDS ACCIDENT IN NEWMARKET His bicycle skidding as he was riding through Newmarket yesterday morning, John Allan, aged 16, was thrown on to the tramlines, and a moment later a heavy motorbus ran over him. The bus was stopped within a few feet, but one wheel had already passed over his chest, breaking several ribs. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital. where his injuries were reported to be serious, and this morning he was still dangerously ill. Allan was employed as a grocer's assistant, and lives at 32 Alba Road, Epsom.
