APPOINTED NAVAL A.D.C. TO THE KING COURT-MARTIAL RECALLED (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. Captain Kenneth G. B. Dewar, formerly commander of the Royal Oak, has been appointed naval aide-de-camp to the King. Captain Dewar, it will be recalled, was severely reprimanded, and dismissed his ship at Gibraltar, following a dispute with Rear-Admiral B. St. G. Collard about the ship’s band. Commander H. M. Daniel, who was similarly punished, left the Navy, and joined the staff of the ‘‘Daily Mail.” The rear-admiral was also punished for his part in the affair, being suspended.
