Dinner Party
MR. AND MRS. SINCLAIR ! REID ENTERTAIN FRIENDS I BEFORE ATTENDING BALL
PARTY AT GRANT HOTEL Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair Reid entertained a few of their friends at dinner at the Grand Hotel on Thursday evening before attending the Government House Ball. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Horrocks, Commander and Mrs. Hull, and Miss Beverley Horrocks. Mrs. Reid was in primrose georgette with a petalled hem, embroidered with crystal beads. Mrs. Horrocks wore midnight blue georgette with bands of rhinestone trimming. Mrs. Hull’s gown was of black georgette and lace. Miss Beverley Horrocks was in a pretty frock of gold tissue and ivory georgette, the frilled skirt dipping to the ankles at the back.
