ONE PASSENGER INJURED When a motor-car collided with a power pole at the corner ol Edendale Road and New North Itoad early last evening, the driver of the vehicle and a passenger wore injured, and the car was badly damaged. Air. Ivan Tattersall, the passenger, received slight concussion of the brain and scalp injuries, and. after he had been attended by Dr. Graham D. Lindsay, he was taken to hospital. He is a married man, aged 34, and lives at 6 Duart Avenue, Mount Albert. His condition this morning was not serious. Mr. Howard Nicholson. who was

driving the car when the accident occurred. had one hand cut by broken I glass from the windscreen. The other passengers were not hurt. The car, which was owned by Mr. J. Kouskill, junr., had one side badly damaged, the near rear wheel being wrenched off. the body work, crushed and the windscreen smashed.
