MASONIC GRAND LODGE
QUESTION OF PERMANENT OFFICE VOTE TO BE TAKEN The system whereby the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand moves its executive office and officers every second year may possibly be stopped by a vote of the lodges throughout the territory, which is to be taken this month, as a result of a decision arrived at at the annual communication in Dunedin last November. The system has been in force since the institution of the Grand Lodge in IS9O. and at the forthcoming vote each lodge will be to give its opinion whether the present system should be changed so that the secretary’s office may be stationed permanently in one centre and, if so. whether it should be situated in Auckland. Wellington, Dunedin or Christchurch.
