MONEY FOR FARMERS
BUSINESS OF CREDIT BOARD Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Associations registered under the Rural Intermediate Credit Board now Number 21. and two more are being formed at Kaikohe and Te Puke. Indications are that, for the approaching few months when, as a rule, farmers are arranging their financial requirements for the coming season, there will be a considerable volume of applications for advances. Increased interest is also being shown by dairy companies in the discounting method by which loans are made upon the security of promissory notes endorsed by dairy or other companes, whose financial position has been established to the satisfaction of the board. Arrangements are being made for visits by the Deputy-Commissioner to all associations.
